Important Changes to the Clubhouse access and catering

I am pleased to report that getting the Clubhouse opened in time for the Autumnal Equinox has been achieved. The Wet Bar and the Snug Bar have now received their new perspex screens. The North Room and Snug Bar are ready to receive guests. As I'm sure you are all aware, new government guidance and legislation has been issued this week around Covid. You will already have received an email detailing the how these changes affect you when you come to the Club. You should refer to these and below are some bullet points to guide you further.

Entrance to the terrace is via the main gate.

Please use your own wrist band /card to gain access and don't allow other members to tail gate behind you.

If you have the NHS Test and Trace app, please all scan the Test and Trace QR code posters positioned around the Club.

Entrance to the Clubhouse remains via the Wet Bar.

Face coverings must be worn, until seated.

The Sun Lounge/ Restaurant remains the primary catering room for the Club.

The Snug Bar (seats 12 people) and North Room (seats 14 people), all members must be seated for service.

Once you have been shown to your table by a member of the Catering Staff, once seated, face coverings may be removed.

All drinks and food will be served to your table; there is no bar service.

You may book tables in advance, contact the bar for a reservation.

We may be able to accommodate "walk ins" in the rooms, but table sharing is not permitted.

The Clubhouse closes at 2130.

The Upper and Lower Deck will also be table service only.

In a busy week, the excess items of Club furniture mentioned in an earlier article were removed from the premises and relocated in safe and secure storage facility in West Sussex.

I appreciate that the new rules may appear somewhat prescriptive but they have been carefully thought through to keep you safe and the Club within the Guidelines and the Law. If you have any queries please contact Ollie or the Office 01243 372850 and we will attempt to clarify or answer any queries.
